In 2013 we made a series of drawings based on political theory texts. Driven by a desire to have something concrete and visual to grasp onto amidst the abstract ideas in the texts, we illustrated metaphorical objects we found in the various essays, imagining and rendering things like 'the big knot of recognition and mis-recognition' or 'the lens of overdetermination'.
