This collection of chalk and gouache artworks was installed at the Schneider Museum of Art in Ashland, Oregon in 2017 and was a collaborative project made with our 7-year-old child. Using frameworks from children's activity books and educational worksheets, our drawings featured questions about society, being, and representation that get asked by children rather than to them—questions like “If you erase something in the computer, does it get erased in real life?” This work is grown from our love of the ways that kid logic and hypotheses can reframe what we believe to be true. The exhibition also included takeaway worksheets, which were available to viewers of any age.
